The last time somebody tried to make a first-person shooter with zombie-like enemies, that game was Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green (and we all know how atrociously that turned out). Undaunted by such past colossal failures, Polish developer Techland is currently working on Dead Island, a first-person shooter set on an island teeming with walking corpses.
This new zombie game is definetly going to be a masterpiece!

Doom 4 has been officially announced by id Software, and will be coming to both Xbox360 & PS3!

Gears of War 1 & 2 were two incredible games, loads of gore, now lets see how the 3rd part goes.GoW3 is coming and co op will play an incredible part of the game this time!
Rod Fegusson from Epic Games has told a few things about the co-op abilities of Gears of War 2. He tells how the co-op is made brilliantly well in the game. Epic wants every character to be different in the imporant story-mode for 4 players.

“Creating a co-op for 4 players is an amazing challenge. Its not as simple as cloning the main character 4 times. We’ve had to write a story from a 4 person perspective. And thats very hard.”

“What we’ve done is watch the way we want to play and whats in our strength and how people will think about it. If you think about Gears, you think about co-op.”

“If we look at the other games who use 4 player co-op, then we recognize ourselves. We’ve helped to form co-op this way. And we want to do it again.”

“This time the adjustments aren’t in the technical aspect, but in the being unique of every character. “Its been a real challenge to create a convincing 4 player co-op,” states Fergusson.”
